Apprenticeship · Remote · M/F

Operations and communications associate.

Client case follow‑up, the company’s communications and the preparation of loss calculations, working directly with the partners, the clients and the partner lawyers.

Background.

Hello Justice is the first French company dedicated to funding mid‑market litigation, from a stake of €100,000 upwards. It pays the lawyer’s fees set out in the agreement and is paid out of the sums recovered, in the event of success only.

The company carries more than 500 live cases, engaged since 2024. They include individual cases over Swiss franc mortgage loans taken out between 2002 and 2015, handled as a series. That volume calls for disciplined client follow‑up and a platform that absorbs the repetitive work.

The team is made up of three founding partners and works with specialised partner lawyers. It is distributed and operates remotely.

The role is created to structure client follow‑up and communications as the portfolio grows.

The role.

Case follow‑up and client relations

  • Follow cases through the back office and the secure client spaces, from opening to the funding opinion.
  • Call clients, answer their questions, collect missing documents and keep them informed of progress.
  • Handle case messaging and make sure no request goes unanswered.
  • Act as the link between clients, partner lawyers and the partners, and flag whatever is stuck.

Communications and business development

  • Produce and publish the company’s content on LinkedIn and other social networks.
  • Contribute to articles and materials aimed at claimants and at lawyers.
  • Organise the company’s professional events, from invitations through to the write‑up.
  • Keep contact databases and the record of exchanges with law firms and introducers up to date.

Analysis and loss calculation

  • Read the loan contracts, amortisation schedules and bank statements sent in by clients.
  • Quantify a claim with the in‑house simulator and check the result against the bank’s own figures.
  • Prepare the financial material used in the analysis reports given to clients.
  • Report to the partners any discrepancies found and any documents missing from the calculation.

Tools and continuous improvement

  • Work daily with the back office, the tracking spreadsheets and the company’s artificial intelligence tools.
  • Spot repetitive tasks in client follow‑up and propose the automations that remove them.
  • Test platform changes, report defects and check the fixes.

The profile we are looking for.

  • Three to five years of higher education in business school, business law or management, looking for an apprenticeship.
  • Excellent written and spoken French. Fluent English is an advantage.
  • At ease on the phone, including with worried clients unfamiliar with court proceedings.
  • Rigour and attention to detail. A wrong figure in a case file ends up in a report handed to the client.
  • Self‑reliance and the ability to organise your own work without constant supervision.
  • Discretion. The files handled contain confidential personal and financial information.

The skills expected.

  • Solid Excel: formulas, pivot tables, consistency checks on an amortisation schedule.
  • Everyday use of the Microsoft suite and Google Drive.
  • Regular use of generative artificial intelligence tools for writing, summarising and document analysis.
  • Curiosity about no‑code development tools, Lovable in particular, which our platform is built with.
  • A taste for reading financial and contractual documents, and for working with figures.

Terms.

  • Fully remote from anywhere in France, with no requirement to be on site.
  • Directly supervised by the company’s president.
  • Pay according to the statutory apprenticeship scale.
  • Expenses incurred on assignment are covered.
  • Computer equipment and access to professional tools provided.

The role is designed to grow into full responsibility for client operations as the portfolio expands. A permanent hire at the end of the apprenticeship is considered in line with the company’s needs and the person’s contribution.

The recruitment process.

  1. You send your application from the form on the posting, with your CV attached.
  2. We read every application and reply to you promptly, whether the answer is yes or no.
  3. A first interview with the company’s president, by video call, covering your background and the role.
  4. A short exercise on an anonymised case file, so we can see how you work and discuss it together.
  5. An interview with the partners, then the offer and, for an apprenticeship or an internship, the paperwork with your school.
