Why is the analysis charged?

It takes our team’s time on your case: the amount at stake, the opposing party’s ability to pay, and the length and cost of the proceedings. The fee pays for that work and is due whatever the opinion. The test and filing remain free.

Who stays in charge of the case?

Your company and its lawyer. Strategy, a settlement or a withdrawal remain your decisions. Hello Justice is not a law firm and does not run the proceedings.

What happens if the case is lost?

Your company repays nothing to Hello Justice. The fees we paid remain our cost. The agreement describes, before signature, what happens if the case fails.

Do you fund executives and the self‑employed?

Yes, provided the dispute is worth at least €100,000 against a party able to pay. For example, a warranty claim after the sale of a company, unpaid fees or a major contract terminated.

Commercial disputes
Unpaid invoices, terminations and disputes between businesses.
Unpaid receivables, abrupt termination of a commercial relationship, breach of a framework contract, warranty claims after a sale, unfair competition.
Insurance and enforcement
Disputed insurance claims and judgments to enforce.
Cover denied or compensation undervalued by an insurer, a judgment won that the other side does not pay.
Serial litigation
The same loss suffered by many businesses.
Individual cases handled in series, against the same defendant.

What you get.

Your cash flow.
Hello Justice pays the lawyer’s fees set in the agreement, on the agreed dates. Your company does not advance them and keeps its cash for its business.
Your profit and loss.
Without funding, your company pays the lawsuit’s fees whatever the outcome. With funding, it repays nothing to Hello Justice if the case fails. The accounting treatment of the arrangement is a matter for its accountant.
Your lawyer and your decisions.
You keep your usual lawyer, or we refer you to a specialised partner lawyer. Strategy, a settlement or a withdrawal remain your company’s decisions.

The mechanism in detail

Step 1

You test the dispute’s eligibility.
A few questions about the dispute, the amount at stake and the opposing party, to see whether it fits what we fund.
Step 2
Free
You file the case.
A specialised partner lawyer reviews the characteristics of the dispute, limitation (the time limit to act), whether the documents are complete and the reasonable chances of success. Not every case is accepted.
Step 3
Flat fee
We analyse the case.
We look at the amount at stake, the opposing party’s ability to pay, and the length and cost of the proceedings. Your company receives a written report and a funding opinion, favourable or not.
Step 4
Agreement
The agreement is signed.
Your company, its lawyer and Hello Justice sign it. It sets the fees we pay and our commission.
Step 5
On success
The lawyer runs the proceedings.
Hello Justice pays the fees on the agreed dates. Proceedings usually last two to four years, sometimes longer.
