On 22 October 2026, Groupe Ecomedia, the publisher of Eco Savoie Mont Blanc, put online an advertorial by Hello Justice and ACTIVE AVOCATS, a firm of the COGEP AVOCATS group, entitled “Et si votre prêt en francs suisses pouvait être annulé ?” (new tab), “What if your Swiss franc mortgage could be annulled?” Source [1]. The publisher labels it as advertising content: the text is ours. It invites the borrowers concerned to four information days, in Ferney‑Voltaire and Annecy.

The information days.

In Ferney‑Voltaire, the days take place on Wednesday 28 October and Tuesday 3 November 2026, at the Appart’City Collection Genève Aéroport. In Annecy, they are held on Wednesday 18 and Tuesday 24 November 2026, at the Hôtel Moxy Annecy.

Each day features five 45-minute talks on recent case law, the documents in a claim and how the proceedings are funded. The lawyers at ACTIVE AVOCATS lead them with Valentin PETITCLERC, President and founder of Hello Justice. Outside the talk times, one of the three lawyers meets you for a 15-minute one‑to‑one meeting, in confidence: you present your loan and its documents, and ask your questions. No figures are given at the meeting: any loss is calculated from the documents once the claim has been submitted.

The talks and the one‑to‑one meetings are free, on registration. To book, choose your city and date on the information days page.

The rulings of 9 July 2025.

The advertorial covers the two rulings handed down by the Cour de cassation on 9 July 2025 Source [2]. One holds that the currency risk is assessed over the whole term of the loan: a borrower paid in Swiss francs remains exposed to it when the property financed is in France, and the protection against unfair terms is open to them. The other upholds the clause of a bank that had clearly informed its customer. This is recent case law, liable to change, and each claim is judged on its own documents. Our analysis of the rulings of 9 July 2025 covers them in detail.

Funding the proceedings.

The principle of litigation funding: Hello Justice covers 100% of your lawyer’s fees and is paid out of the sums recovered, only if the case succeeds. If your case is accepted, you pay €300 incl. VAT when it is opened, for the procedural costs, and the €225 appeal duty is added if there is an appeal. If the case fails, you repay nothing to Hello Justice. Checking your case is free, as are the eligibility test and the submission. Our article on the cost of proceedings sets out this price.

How a claim is quantified.

The advertorial also presents the calculation tool designed by Hello Justice. It recalculates each instalment of the loan at the European Central Bank reference rate, and the firm relies on these figures to assess the amount of the claim.

Submitting your claim online.

Unable to attend one of these days? You can submit your claim online: ACTIVE AVOCATS reads your loan offer and checks its dates.

Your Swiss franc loan may be annulled.

The programme is for borrowers whose loan was taken out between 2002 and 2015. Having your case checked is free, as are the eligibility test and the submission. If your case is accepted, you pay €300 incl. VAT when it is opened. This covers the court costs needed to sue your bank (stamp duty, judicial officer, local counsel). Hello Justice covers 100% of your lawyer’s fees, whatever the amount you borrowed. Only if the case succeeds, a success fee of 14% incl. VAT is due on the sums recovered and on the saving obtained on the outstanding capital. The sums awarded under article 700 and the costs go to the lawyer. If the case fails, you repay nothing to Hello Justice. If there is an appeal, Hello Justice also covers 100% of your lawyer’s fees, as well as local counsel before the court of appeal. Only the €225 appeal duty remains yours to pay.
